Hand-held refractometer, 58-90% Brix, 12-27% Honeymoisture, Baumé

In the food industry the brix scale serves for measuring the sugar content of fruits and vegetables, wine, juice and other non-alcoholic drinks as well as liquid sugar. In the industrial sector our refractometer is mainly used for cooling lubricants, various oils as well as emulsifying solutions. From this table you can read the appropriate scale range for your applications.

The second scale serves for measuring honey moisture and is therefore mainly used in apiaries and in honey production.

The Baumé scale serves for measuring the relative density of liquids. In particular, the scale range of this model is mainly used in the honey production and in the sweets industry.

By default, the refractometer is packed in a grey hardcase. By request, this can be changed into a portable suitcase.
