429,00 €The ABBE ART-111 refractometer is used to quickly and accurately measure the refractive index (nD) between 1.300 and 1.700 nD. A parallel scale allows the sugar content to be read between 0 and 95%. Translucent liquids, dispersions, emulsions and other substances can be measured. The supplied thermometer allows the temperature of the stage to be measured simultaneously between 0 and +60°C. This allows the "standardized" refractive index (at 20°C) to be calculated using conversion tables. Regulating the temperature of the prisms is also possible by means of pre-installed water nozzles.

A parallel scale allows the full scale of sugar content to be read between 0 and 100%. Translucent liquids, dispersions, emulsions, thin solids and other substances can be measured. A small amount of sample is needed on the premium anti-scratch prism. The readings of Brix and refractive index can be shown instantly on the LCD screen, and can be recorded and exported via RS232 connection. There is built-in temperature correction for Brix using algorithm. No need for manual readings from the correction tables anymore. Thermostatic control of the prisms is also possible with an external waterbath for accurate temperature regulation.
