The digital ABBE ART-121 is used for the quick and accurate measurement of the refractive index (nD) between 1.3000 and 1.7000 nD. A parallel scale allows the full scale of sugar content to be read between 0 and 100%. Translucent liquids, dispersions, emulsions, thin solids and other substances can be measured. A small amount of sample is needed on the premium anti-scratch prism. The readings of Brix and refractive index can be shown instantly on the LCD screen, and can be recorded and exported via RS232 connection. There is built-in temperature correction for Brix using algorithm. No need for manual readings from the correction tables anymore. Thermostatic control of the prisms is also possible with an external waterbath for accurate temperature regulation.
