Seawater Refractometer REF211 0-100‰ Salinity for Aquarium 0-10% ATC
SKU: REF211
53,00 €
Refractometer REF211 for measuring low salt concentrations in seawater and food solutions, e.g. canned foods.
The salinity can be corrected above or below 20°C, i.e. this method is to be preferred for saltwater determination.
Readings on the density scale should be taken at 20°C , as temperature compensation is not possible with this density measurement.

The first scale is used to measure the salt content in water and is mainly used in marine aquariums.
The second scale shows the specific gravity, i.e. the density ratio (kg/l at 20 °C) between pure water and the liquid being tested (usually salt water). The specific gravity can also be used to determine the salt concentration, among other things.
| Scale | Measurement Range | Resolution |
| Salt content | 0-100‰ | 1‰ |
| Specific Gravity | 1,000-1,070 | 0,005 |
| Weight | 0,3 kg |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | 210 × 60 × 90 cm |
| Automatic Temperature Compensation | Yes |
